PaddyPants
Paddypants nappy and cover patterns were designed by me (Rachelle) when
I looked at cloth nappies and decided I couldn't afford to outfit the
boys in bought ones. I drafted a pattern and after several changes this
is what I used. The nappy pattern can be used with either snaps or
velcro and can be changed to a fitted pattern by removing the back
elastic casing. It has worked well for both my boys; one a bit chunky
when younger and the other skinny with no bum. The cover works well
over the fitted, being a different shape from the nappy it gives good
coverage and is designed to be made with snaps and FOE. If you wanted
to use velcro I'd recommend extending the wings. It's a side-snap style
whereas the nappy is front-fastening. Please post any feedback on the
