Doll Nappy sewing bee.

Doll Nappy sewing bee.

 everyone.

The plan is to make as many doll nappies as we can to give to children during Cloth nappy week.

Who can help? Either sewing at home or coming to a sewing evening/day.

Please post here if you can help with a guestimate on how many you are prepared to make, anywhere between 1-100 would be great

I've got 8 done and 2 more cut ready to do, they only take 5 minutes each really but haven't found even that this week  but after that I'm out fo scraps apart from quilting cottons, which i just don't think will be as popular as pul or minky? but the only girly stuff i have is cotton...

I can't sew but In A Pear Tree was selling off scraps of pul minky etc if they are big enough I'd be happy to donate a bag to someone sewing them up?

I'd be happy to sew up scraps from Nat if they're big enough :) I'm out of fabrics here except cottons and they're just not as nappy-y looking, and most of the ones I've sewn up are boy-y

If I can get them all done I'll have about 20-25 I think. it's not like they take very long, but find it hard to get time to sew... can't do it when mr O is asleep cos the tiniest noise wakes him  and when he's up and crawling around the place i'm jumping up every 5 seconds to remove something from his mouth or go and check on the suspicious silence
I think I'll just send them over to you, i have pass the parcel bags, when do you need them by?

ETA: never mind, found it :) I'll get them finished this week and sent to you on monday of the next week. If I get time I'll see if i can dig up any more scraps, some might be patchwork doll nappies
