Really love my Ecobubs nappies. I got one old one (orange stripey one) and one of the new ones (blue stripe). The old one has been used so much that the wool on the nappy is more hole than wool so will have to cut the whole wool off, it won't look too nice but will be fine for nights which is when I use mine most. They are great for getting loads of stuffing inside.
Have had no issue with snaps at all.
In my opinion the wool doesn't do much just looks nice and feels good.

Hi Audrey

Sorry for the delay in reply. It has been manic here with the silly season, and trying to tie everything up before the holidays.

I am sorry to hear of the wool pulling away from the snap. This is something new that hasn't come up before, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. As it is a wool and does have stretch, some care needs to be taken when snapping and unsnapping the nappy. Tugging on the snaps when changing could possibly cause this.

We are in the process of finding a miller in the US, so that our wool + PUL can be sandwiched together, which would solve this problem that you have had completely.

As the nappy is no longer under our workmanship gaurentee, I cannot replace the nappy, but we would like to offer you a 50% discount on a Wool Pocket Nappy, if you wish to purchase one in the furture.
If there are other people that have had a similar problem to you, please tell them to contact us directly, so that we can be of help.

Kindest regards and Merry Christmas.

Rebecca & Rochelle @ Ecobubs.

Just emailed them myself, thanks Audrey. We've been away so I didn't get on to it sooner. One of the snaps on my ruby/cream one has now popped off :( after all the wool tore around it. Our pink and chocolate nappy is perfect, however.
I too love these nappies, they solved our night time nappy problem and are lovely nappies. I've never had this happen before on them, so hopefully they do get the PUL and wool sandwiched together. I've always found Ecobubs lovely to deal with too. :)

Just getting back on this. I contacted Ecobubs about the snap coming off the nappy and the wool tearing and they sent me a replacement! :smt041 Really stoked with the great customer service.

They are now telling their customers that because the wool is softer than PUL care needs to be taken when pulling the snaps apart, so you need to hold the front and the back when pulling them. Thought that might be important for people to know on here.

Does that mean as opposed to holding just the front panel to undo the snaps?

Yes, I took it to mean you need to hold the front tab and the back tab, so that you're pulling both in opposite directions, rather than just pulling the front tab away from the back tab.

i love my ecobubs. i had 4 of the swirls, which do pill somewhat, but i take absolutely no special care of them, i chuck them in the machine with all the other nappies, hemp and cotton inserts, whatever. have never had leakage problems and baby is now 18 months old. i also have a few of the sage and chocolate ones as well, no pilling whatsoever with these, and still the great non-leakage.

also my ecobubs inserts are my favourite inserts too.

i usually mix it all up, whatever gets pulled out of the laundry basket gets folded into the pocket, so i have tried the ecobubs pockets with cotton flats, and i've tried the eb inserts with all sorts of other brands, and my opinion is the same for the pocket/insert even when mixed with other brands.

We've got 5 wool pockets of varying ages in our night-time rotation (same rotation for at least a year!) and the stripe ones are in PERFECT condition still. Bec's obviously perfected the wool!
Mum to 3 toilet-trained children of various ages and genders. ;)
