I have tried it......but it didn't really fit to the back of the nappy (could have been my stuffing), and the PUL wicked badly right where the pretty label is on the back, so much so, her t-shirt was wet, and she'd only been in it, maybe two hours at the very most?

I use it with another hemp stuffer thing I acquired, as its just too big if I only have the thinner insert in.

I'll keep trying with it though

I do think they are cute.

I love the look of the peapod we got (new style I think) and the scrummy insert. It's too big around the waist, so I'm undecided whether to add more snaps to it, or just wait for Xavier to grow into.

We have used our pea pod a couple of times now. Man I love it more than my fuzzi's for night time stuffing!! The legs sit wonderfully with no gaps!!!! I do find that it seems shorter in the rise than other pocket nappies. Seth is currently 9.8kg and we have a medium, I have to cross the top snaps over to get it to fit nicely around the waist for during the day.

Now that Immanuel has grown into his new style peapod, I can better review it.

I love it! It looks great, never leaks/very reliable even at night with plenty of stuffing room, and a great price!

Definitely the best value for money so far....

Ahhhh good question... no idea! Is there an obvious difference? - so you could tell on the website without it being stated whether they were old or new?

I know the old ones had a cloth bag and the new ones it's a wetbag.

AND he's fitting into the old style peapods now too. While I prefer the new style, these are good also. It could just be that he needs to not just 'just' fit them, but be really into the size and then I'll like them just as much. They're a little bigger around the waist than the newer style. He's on the tightest setting so far, much bigger than other brands considering that I tried some mediums of other brands on today (that I'd had packed away) and found him already on the middle snaps :cry:

I feel like I've lost so much of their wear time already....

I've only tried the medium peapod and have been pretty happy with it. It fitted both my 3yr old AND my 4month old. It's actually a wee bit small for my 3yr old, but I could use it if I had to. I am finding the legs a much better fit than the medium FB, the elastic seems tighter. I am surprised that people think it's big fitting as I am using the medium peapod in rotation with my small FB (the medium FB legs gape). However the fleece quality for the Peapod isn't as good as the FB. With the same amount of washing the peapod looks much much older and is very pilled.

Just wanted to say that we have been using the 'new' Peapods, size small (came with their own matching wetbag if that helps distinguish them) since our little one was 2 weeks old. We have 10 so they are in heavy rotation, washing daily. They have fitted really well since birth (though he was 9lb 4oz born) and still fit really well at 11 weeks. We use the hemp during the day & add the microfibre at night. They have been lasting the night with no problems at all! During the day, I sometimes get wicking around the legs but that is normally when I have left them on WAAAY to long and the hemp is saturated.
Value for money, these are fantastic. They have held up really well to alot of useage and are the workhorse of my somewhat limited collection of pocket nappies. Would definately recommend them :smt023 :smt023

I love my one and only 'new' style peapod, i want more but don't need more :wink:

. they are very trim and the small size fits my girls on the tightest setting, they are about 8 kgs. the only 'thing' i have about them is that they will definatly grow out rise wise before the waist and now that there on tighest setting the back only just covers there but crack now. i really want to try a medium to see what the rise is like.

For the price of these nappies they are awesome 9/10,its one of my favourites :alright:
