Night Nap Naps

Post by Kaz » Sun Apr 30, 2006 8:06 am

The new baby in the Nap Nap family.

A beautifully soft velour towelling nappy. 100% cotton in white.

The only nappy I've used that has NOT needed any boosting for nights!

This nappy has the well loved one size fit and a lovely curved top, which means less bulk when folded down. It fits my 18mnth and 4yr old. It copes with being on 12hrs + and contains the early morning business!

It takes about the same time as a thick towel to dry, which is slower than the original Nap Nap - but it lasts all night.

It is the only nappy I use at night now as there is no messing around with mutliple layers, stuffing, or boosting. Coupled with the lovely turtle wrap, my nights are leak free. (we were a 2x hemp + micro fibre, PUL + wool family)

:smt060 This is a case of falling in love with an exquisite product that I would recommend to anyone with a heavy wetter looking for something more!

How do the night nap naps compare with the regular ones for fit? I have just tried a regular nap nap but the fit is just not right on Faith. I saw the night ones at the Expo and they looked to be quite a different style although I didn't actually have a play around, could be just that they looked different with the different fabric.

Rubens has chunky legs, but is still on the 'under velcro/ cross over' setting. I don't think they are cut differently from the standard Nap Nap - just a matter of adjusting them to suit.

We have a night Nap-Nap and I agree with Kaz - it most definatly doesnt need boosting. The towelling is 'thicker' than a Tots Bots and it still feels soft and fluffy after heaps of washes. Its an excellent night nappy!!!

Oh Karen you bet me to this :P

I have also been using the night nap on Michael and he can pee through just about anything. The fit is wonderful and has been since he was approx. 1 week old (8lb) and also still fits Sophie 3 1/2 years and 16kg!!!

It is white, soft, fluffy and feels just like the hotel bathrobes. It has washed and washed and still remains soft as it is that rich velour toweling not the srunchy stuff.

P.S. Louise bring the Nap Naps original tomorrow and we will have a look how you are putting it on. It took me a while to work them out on Sophie and then had to start all again for Michael just to get the fit but it is well worth trying as they are so cost effective not having to size up all the time.

Yes, the new website is under construction so new products won't be listed until it is up. Keishana has been busy with the launch of several new products. I am sure Keishana will welcome orders via email until then.

So do you think that I would'nt have to boost with one of these??

We are currently using nap naps two hemp boosters and a thick GreenBeans Microfibre booster and we are pretty wet in the morning! Have tryed boosting with less but we end up with wet clothes!

I am really interested in buying one of these night naps but would'nt bother if I had to still boost it, as our current system works great! I guess I am just attracted to the thought of not having to boost which seems to make for a more fiddly and very bulky nappy that DD can hardly walk in!!

Sounds like you have a heavy wetter like us. We found that a combination of the night nappy and the new turtle wraps (thicker PUL than their standard red or blue wraps) is enough for night.

In the day with the regular Nap-Naps we are putting 1 Nap Naps booster and 1 hemp (3 layers of hemp fleece) inside so you may find 1 hemp might just help over night if you were needing that much extra but certainly shouldn't need a HUGE bottom like it sounds like you have now.

Remember that with night nappies you will need to size up the wraps but you are probably doing that already for night.

You say the clothing at night is wet. Have you tried using longies over the top of a night nappy and PUL wrap? We have to do this as soakers aren't enough at night normally but the wool will soak up a little dampness and stays warm compared to cottn PJs etc that go cold and wet.
