Post by Henpen » Tue May 24, 2005 8:01 pm

I am currently just using flats with my covers - can anyone tell me.....will I get better (but bulkier) absorbancy with prefolds? And is one brand of prefold better than another?

prefolds are trim, i promise :) i have been told there are differences in quality, for example, unbleached are supposed to be thirstier. other than that i am not sure...

My Mum bought me some Kushie brand prefolds and I can't recommend them as they can't be snappied. The cotton is too closely weaved. we use them as boosters at night which seems a waste. I thought the whole point of prefolds is the ability to snappi, therefore contain young baby's poohs. I ended up using flats as they dry faster and did as good a job at containment as the prefolds.
