Bib & Tucker fleece cover

Post by annalisef » Thu Apr 03, 2008 3:35 pm

This is my DS in his new Bib & Tucker Blueberry Truffle fleece cover that I won in a recent promotion. Unfortunately the flash has made him look a little washed out - must get a photo in natural light :D

Image

Although it looks a bit big, it actually fits him really nicely around the legs with plenty of room in it for a thick night nappy and is on the smallest snaps, so there's plenty of room for him to grow. (It is a medium and he is 11 weeks old today and weighed 6.4kg last week.)

It is beautifully made and feels lovely and soft. A layer of fleece over a layer of PUL, so it should be a great nighttime cover.

We haven't used it yet, so I'll post an update on how it went.

Thanks :D I love the way he clasps his little hands together like that, he looks like he's plotting something Dr. Evil-ish

Well we used the Bib & Tucker cover last night and it performed admirably. A very wet fitted nappy underneath, but no leaks after being worn from 6.30pm to 2am.

Well done Kate - looks like you're onto a winner! :D

Oh look I've put the pic in the wrong place - oh well I'll add the review.

We use this overnight on Em - she's now 18ish months and 11ish kgs - its a largish medium (I think thats right - not a normal medium anyway) It's great - it's like there are 2 layers of leak protection with the PUL and the Fleece.

I'd love another one when the funds allow - maybe the other colour

I really like how this cover has the fleece around the edges, it is much softer and more snuggly on the wee chubby legs of my 6mth old.

It is a gorgeously soft fleece too and seems to wash up really nicely without going fluffy (only washed 3 times so far though)

It looks a bit bulky but actually seems quite trim once singlets and jammies are on and no more bulky than my other nighttime combinations. Absolutely no leaks and it has been on from 7pm till 7am and my wee man can pee!

ETA: Charlie is 6mths and 7kg - this is the medium size. (heaps of room left yet too.)
