Mothersease Rikki cover

Post by rahel » Tue Sep 05, 2006 11:51 am

This is a velcro cover and I just absolutly love it. I only got one and I use it all the time unless it's in the wash and then I panic. It's got leak guards and they work great. Especially great over fitted nappies.
It works great over a snazzipant and other such bulky nappies too (much better than the Bummis ones in my humble opinion. But I use it over everything: Tot Bots, Nap Naps, Zappy, Mothersease, .... (you get the picture) Love them!!!! :smt041 :smt055 :smt041
Has anyone else tried these?
They wouldn't be much good with a prefold I reckon as they are a bit big, which makes some so great over fitteds.
I am seriously thinking of selling all my other covers and just investing in these cause I don't really use anything else anymore.

I've had one of these for a while and have used it only on prefolds and hemp flats. This cover is indicated as ok for prefolds on the website.

I have the medium and have used it from about 4 mths (baby's weight is 75% and length 50%, to give an idea of what it works on).

Have never had a leak, but...

I stopped using it for a while because I found it a bit of an awkward fit using prefolds compared to the BSWW. I feel it might fit better around a fitted. It doesn't seem designed to come in tighter around the waist as is needed with prefolds, which don't have the side bulk that fitteds do, or that is what I found, and my girl doesn't have a slim waist (quite the contrary), so might be more of an issue for a skinny baby?. However I can get it done up ok (maybe because she is chubby) and as I said, no leaks.

The other issue I would have is no fold back tabs.

I have started using it again, and just make sure I do it up for washing.
