I think these are great!

Sorry to thread-jack
I don't suppose there is anyone doing something like this in Auckland already? If there is I would love to help!

If there isn't, would any of you lovely AKL girls like to help me get something like this started?

Hi Michelle,

All the printed material is off the TNN website, fairly much the same stuff that we did for the Expo. You should have that on file somewhere

The kits haven't been distributed yet, due to my being unwell last week. Still not 100% so I'm hoping to get them out asap.

Any volunteers?

kb - I'll help with Akld ones.
I guess the first thing we need is a list of places running antenatal classes so we know how many kits to organise... then we can start begging people on here to make sample nacps and do some photocopying off the ChCh ones??

What do you think?

Email me.

Not sure about Wednesday.

I'm planning on not doing much in the next couple of days, hoping I'll start feeling better. Rubens is sick too and has had a sore tummy this afternoon and icky poo (TMI, sorry).

Glad you liked the wee surprise, hopefully it won't take too long before it fits. I'm sure you'll even find a pair of BabyLegs to wear with it.

What I found was the easiest way to get antenatal class details was to talk to the local midwife who had a list. She had one that had every class in Chch.

It may be a bit different in Auckland and Wellington.

Those kits look great.

If are at all interested in including the 'Time For a Change' DVD in the kits you are welcome to. If you get hold of a DVD (fnk has a copy) feel free to duplicate it yourself.

Hello, just sharing the warm fuzzies!!! :D

Here's the contents of a card I received today:

Dear Karen (TNNers)
I would like to thank you personally for the wonderful Kit you sent us. It is going to be used in the Practical Parenting part of our antenatal courses and will be a huge bonus to the expecting parents.

It is extremely well put together and thank you once again.

Kind Regards

J. D. (President of Parents Centre Christchurch.)
