Very very cool!!

Audrey are you up with the play on the cloth kits in Waitakere? All the midwives have a snazzipants fitted, prefolds, bummis or real nappies cover, a honey child and ummm... anyway it was a range of nappies it came out with the waitakere scheme that saw the nappies in hospital change to cloth.

We still need to get them out to the antenatal classes though. And I like the idea of "mini" sized kits as there seemed like waaaay too many options when we had the full kits out at the Expo.

Shall we ask for this thread to be moved to "nappy chat"? (rather aware that this is a public area  )

i might start a new thread there.. and link it to this thread.

 i know nothing about that's being offered at waitakere

it is a fab idea... but like what a couple of people mentioned here, they weren't shown mcn. i guess at the end of the day it's up to the educators to show them or not.

i remember from my ante class day, the educator (who is a greenie) asked if anyone is interested in cloth nappy and most weren't so she didn't show anything at the end. i wonder if that could be the case in other classes.

what are your thoughts???
