Chch Benefit Concert for Chile - 24th March $25

Post by Minty » Fri Mar 12, 2010 3:06 pm

A friend of mine is organising this event, so I thought I would pop it up here in case anyone is interested. I'm going along, and I'm especially looking forward to seeing my friend in the Jesus Christ Superstar segment, and the Court Jesters ('cause I used to play with them years ago).
Benefit Concert for Chile

The Concert for Chile has been put together to support those who have been affected by the 8.8 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that hit Chile on 27 February. All proceeds from the evening will go to the Red Cross’ Chilean Earthquake relief fund. All ticket holders will be in the draw for many fantastic prizes that have been donated by businesses who support the cause. There will be performances from the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar, the Court Jesters, Impact Stage and Dance School, local bands and much more. Guests at this early stage (more are currently being confirmed) include the reigning Miss World NZ, What Now presenters Charlie and Serena and a representative from the Chilean Embassy.

Tickets are available from the Court Theatre at http://www.courttheatre.org.nz, 03 963 0870 or 0800 333 100.

Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.

When: Wednesday 24 March

Where: Ngaio Marsh Theatre (90 Ilam Road)

Time: 7:30pm

Price: $25
