Next Question is what brands do most kits have...

I never hired a kit, so don't know what to tell her.

I've got some kits that I am happy to send to Wellington Claire.

My kits have a range of brands including: (pockets) Fuzzis, Joeleze, Peapods, Swaddlebees, Wigglebums (only in some kits :D ), Ecobubs (fitteds) Snazzipants, Ecobubs, Kissaluvs, Totsbots, Rosies, Swaddlebees, Cutiebums; (covers) Designerbums, Bummis, Motherease, Snazzipants, a soaker, and every kit has some homemade nappies too.

HTH

I think everyone's kits are different :D

I've got a kit in Wellington at the moment too. And i've sent them there before.

My kits have: Snazzipants, Rosies/KarmaKidz, Pikobaby, Designer Bums, Snugglebuma, Wigglebumz, Kissaluvs, Tots Bots, Yoyo, smartEPants, CutieBums, Swaddleebee, JoelEze Happy Heiny's as well as Bummis, Real Nappies, Motherease, Prowraps, Disana a couple of homemade nappies, plus homemade knitted soakersand my own crocheted ones. ( medium kit as a different range as i have alot more OSFA in it)

It comes with a guide with a photo of each nappy so the hirer can locate each nappy and know what it is and what type etc as it can be VERY ovewhelming to suddenly have sooo many nappies and trying to work each one out. With the photo is the website to get them, what they are made out of, price and size range and anything else i could think of.
Hirekits avaliable. 3 x NB/SM and a Med/Lrg. Especially on the West Coast or South Island fimale99@hotmail.com

Claire, all the hire kit info is n the front tnn pages. If they get stuck and there isn't one available for that time then I have a back up one. I've been given the job of keeping info up to date (although I'm not able to actually change the website info) so if she wants the most recent (like last two weeks changes to people's info) - she can email me on the address below!

porirua nappy hire kit service

Post by serabera » Mon May 26, 2008 10:02 am

Hi there. I have just got back from overseas and saw this thread. I manage a nappy hire kit service in Porirua which is run by funding that Porirua City Council and The Sustainability Trust obtain. (Will be advertising on your network, via Helen shortly). First preference is the Porirua area but if the nappies aren't booked out at the time Wgtn people require them, that would be fine. They would need to be picked up from me and either dropped off or posted back, as my expenses, ie petrol, aren't funded out of the Porirua area. We have 8 kits, with a variety of nappies/covers in the newborn/small, and medium kits. The kits have approx 18 nappies. The newborn/small kits can be hired up to 7 weeks for $50 + $40 bond (baby needs to be 4kgs). Our medium kits (2) can be hired for 2 weeks minimum at $20 + $40 bond. We also have kits that have only approx 8 - 9 nappies for those that want to give mcn a go but don't want the full caboodle. My phone number is 04 2384478 and my email is marty_sarah@paradise.net.nz. cheers, Sarah Hurrell

hire kit

Post by willsmum » Thu May 29, 2008 6:46 pm

I have just returned a fabulous hirekit. The lady who runs it is Ema, and her company is called Kete Kope Nappy Kits. She will post all over the north island and the fee is included in the hire charge. Awesome kit and Ema is wonderful to deal with!
Info can be found on TNN hire kit page
