Cotton Lycra from TNN co-op - what did you make?

Post by Miss Shelley » Tue Jan 08, 2013 4:00 pm

So I've just found the metres and metres of fabric from the co-op on here years ago and I have no idea what I even brought it to make. I have both blues (one was organic from memory) and some red.

:whip: I need inspiration!!! What did you make with yours? or is it still sitting around in the fabric stash like mine :smt044

I've used mine quite a lot. My fav thing was quite simple circle skirts for me... not quite a full circle, then a yoga type waist band out of the same colour. Plain.. but sooo comfy and practical. I wear them all the time.

no sorry I just made them up.
there are heaps of circle skirt tutorials on the net... I'm not big on the completely full circle.. they are lovely on the girls but I don't like them on me
The easiest way is to make a full circle and then cut some out but you can make a 3/4 by doing the math. Then just measure a bit of your waist. See how high you want it and then x by 4 (cause it will be folded over) ... then measure it around your waist for the width.. make it quite tight cause it will fall down otherwise (ask me how I know LOL)
I'll see if I can scout some tutes on the net.
