First ever fitteds

Postby sable » Mon Nov 21, 2005 8:18 am

Thanks for the compliments guys. (blush) I'm really happy with the way they turned out. They fit Ian really well, now all I've got to do is change the needle in the overlocker and see if that stops the occasional skipped stitch. I have some snoopy wincyette which I want to make one from now too. I think that would look so cute!
I have to say Pockets are easier to make, but the cuteness factor isn't the same!

Will you put pul in as well so you can wear them without a cover?

No PUL, but they are wearable without a cover at home. I pop a cover on if he's going to be sitting in the car or pushchair. Otherwise coverless so I can admire them.
I suspect if I included a layer of PUL they'd never dry, that and my sewing machine would pop a gear!

Your overlocking is so tidy, I don't think I could show mine  The fabric really makes you think of bright sunny days. Well done!
