I have a strange hankering....Quiltalong anyone?

Mine is a very plain big square quilt using all my left over fabric, so not terribly inspiring like these ones!

I do love those colours, sunbird73 :smt050

Don't worry Ali mine is going to be plain old squares or maybe bricks!(I actually like the simple look! )I think all of the complicated ones would do my head in and just never get finished!!

Mine is only squares too, about half way through sewing the rows together now. I need to find something for the inner and some backing material. The one I had in mind for my binding has been snapped up by DD1 for her quilt so have to choose another now.

Very impressive sunbird73, way beyond my capabilities at the moment, gorgeous fabrics.

Mines progressing well, the top is all sewn up, now I've got to prewash the batting. But I am a bit scared of the next bit, will definitely need DH home to look after the kids so I can lay it all out flat and pin it all together. Wish me luck :crossfingers:

So I chopped up 4 pairs to see the design making it blue/green dominant

Not sure really, I could still just sew the rest of the strips together. Any other thoughts? I could do a square of white between each row but I don't think that would be right either.

Thanks for the feedback - the quilt was all I could think about at work today, decide to go for it and chopped them all up last night and this is the layout DH and I came up with.
