Looks fabulous Nikki! Think I have one of those fabrics, might inspire me to actually cut into it :)

Daikini your block is so impressive, I love the colours. Cannot believe you did it by hand =D>

Here's my trial quilt top (as in, the first one to make mistakes in before I do the one with the more expensive fabrics!)
Sewn completely from stash, will be for my boy. 8-)
It's hanging over my fabriccupboard (2doors) to give you a size idea, and is over a baby gate at the bottom so it is not as misshapen as the photo apprears!

Thanks for your kind words ladies. I did cheat with some of the blocks and made them just a square of one fabric instead of the three fabrics like the other blocks... And now that I'm looking at that photo I'm not happy with the block placement.

Perfectionist much?

So apparently having a sick boy (who is very happy and normal, just very spotty!) has it's benefits- I've had the last two days off from work as he can't be at daycare as usual. And coincidentally he's had long day sleeps- today he slept for 2.5 hours! So I finished this :)
The quilt top for my little girl. Some of it from stash ... Maybe 60% stash, the rest bought specifically for this.

So bummed I didnt look into this thread properly.

I made Jayes quilt front about 2 weeks ago:

Bad pics:

I just made the pattern up based on a coined quilt. A mixture of squares and rectangles. Its cot sized.
The back will be the fairytale material with a strip of lights to break the colours. I have baby pink and blue stars, light pink fairies and light blue fairies in that mix too. I just reaaaaally need a good camera

My next one will be squares also. But for a doll hahahaha.

I just can't believe how professional and awesome these quilts are looking!! I haven't got far on mine - and it's not terribly interesting, but I'll post a pic later when I'm home from work 8-[
