Oh, I can't wait to see!
I have my first page all planned out, I just haven't had a chance to get the sewing machine out with DP away. When he gets home he'll get a peck on the cheek then he won't see me for dust  .

That would require someone knowing where my camera battery is LOL
I did the 'my name is' page first. Not sure which one to do next... something easy

Can't wait to see Claire :D
I've been thinking (applause please) and a lot of the pages I had planned have bits that come off IYKWIM. Is that going to cause problems I wonder. Should I try and attach everything with ribbons or something :?
Thoughts?

just a couple of ideas i've had, i'm not sure they would work but i think they sound cool.

1. doll house page - i was wondering about putting flat magnets behind each room (like the sort that come with advertising on them) then another small magnet inside each piece of furniture/doll so they can be moved to any position.

2. butterfly page - with one side of the butterfly already covered in spots patterns and the other side with snaps/velcro so it can be made to look the same with removable bits

i cant wait to see all the other ideas :)

Also can you get velcro loop fabric in colours? you could do a monster shape out of the loop fabric then attach various bits (eyes, horns etc)

V v cool ideas Lauren.!!!... love the idea of magnets :detective:

I am loving making this book. Really really fun .. and I know the kids are going to love it \:D/

this lady

has a cool dolls house book.
well actually she has A LOT of cool book patterns. I notice she prints out t-shirt transfers and then irons them on to the felt. That sounds quick and easy and would use up some of my transfers

How's everyone going?
I've done a few pages... one with the letters of DDs name that velcro on and off
one with flowers that button (but I need to get buttons ;-)
one with a boy and girl doll to dress.. and a wardrobe for their clothes.. they don't have nearly enough clothes yet though!

Gonna do a barn tonight... I got some finger puppet patterns for my embroidery machine and can't wait to try them \:D/

Ugh, I still haven't started. You must show us photos of your lovely pages so we can get motivated (and possibly copy you 8-[ ).
