lol just found this thread... may as well update that i bought a Janome MC9000 2nd hand and i LOVE it! Fabulous!! It took a while to get used to the digital screen and having a foot control again but I really love it now. Its so quiet! I havent used the embroidery parts yet as the seller didnt send the foot, may have to buy another one.
