Updating old wooden and metal school chairs

Updating old wooden and metal school chairs

Postby jhcsmum » Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:36 am

I have been given the task to update the four little old school type chairs for a waiting room. They are the small standard metal frame, wooden seat and backrest, painted about 100 times of course.

Has anyone got any fab ideas for ideas, I was thinking perhaps rubbing down the legs and spraypainting them, rubbing back the wood and perhaps repainting and decoupaging them or something, but have no idea where to start.

Any help or suggestions or pics would be gratefully received.
