Inkjet printer iron on stuff.......

....question for you knowledgeable crafty peeps : When you print on to the iron on stuff do you have use it in it's entirety or can I put say 8 photos onto a page, print it out....then cut each one out and iron them on individually??

I am far too cheap to use a whole sheet for one project (esp when most projects are for the kids and pretty small)
