It is the best source of knitting patterns. There are lots of free patterns, and the patterns you have to pay for normally only cost a few dollars.

The milo vest pattern is a great beginner project. Knitting in the round takes a bit of getting used to but it means you don't have to sew separately knitted pieces together. I would consider myself an intermediate to advanced knitter, and I still HATE seaming pieces together when I am knitting a garment.

And there are great video tutorials on this website too.

I really need to learn, love woolens for the kids, and with all the talanted yarn suppliers on here it is even more tempting! I think hats are meant to be a good starting project? Might see if Mum has the patience to try and teach me again

I'm borrowing needles off a friend and using some wool she had... How do I know?

did the yarn have a label? or if you try to break a little off its really hard.. thats acrylic wool is easier to break

I was wondered as I have a bag of acrylic yarn here Im not using so if you would like a couple of balls I could send you some? I also have some long 'normal' needles Im not using as I only use circulars now

It was a brand new ball of wool, with no label (she pulled it off and handed it to me).. I think it may be wool? It was bought from the local wool shop..

Needles are round? I I think it said 4mm on the end?
