I have to say, I do get a bit annoyed/sad at some of the Facebook yarny buyers. Not their fault, their budget is their budget and mine is mine but when you see the same people buying lots and snagging the one you were after, I do get a bit :gaah:

But most of the time I'm probably then relieved after as it's not like (to me, with not a massive stash) I need more wool. I just need more time to knit what I already have!
I used to get annoyed when I miss out on RRHY and the like, but then realised that you can normally just place a custom order for the same price anyway
Yes, I second the custom dye lots, Morag used to do it too? Ask her if you'd like?

And I never feel 'grrrr' about people buying yarn I wanted. In fact these days I tell myself I'm only window shopping or else I'll comment 'SOLD' on everything because I have a bit of a obsessive complusive behaviour when it comes to yarn I think. I'm trying to only buy for specific projects these days and order yarn especially for it.

Well maybe we need to approach Morag about a special TNN coop!

In fact I have a skien of VP (the only one I've brought) that I haven't knit up that I should trade. It's a pale green (I think it's called lettuce)

This is me I find it very very hard to buy yarn without a set project for it
Honestly the talented dyers on here do wonderful job, just as good if not better than VP sometimes ;)

I agree Neak with Hannah, Rachel, Emma, Jo and Margo - there are a few avenues for getting hand dyed yarn and even place custom orders. Love your work ladies.

I don't think our chances of a VP co-op are very likely. The winter sock club sign up is on 30 May, there is something like 90 spaces so quite easy to get one.

Eta, make that 95 spaces.

And it is a fairly safe risk, if you don't like the yarn and or pattern they are easily destashed.

I think it's because she doesn't need to? She's quite happy just picking her own colours and selling them as she likes I think. Co-ops sound stressful to me!
