Knitting for "fish and chip" babies

Post by MumAmber » Fri Jun 22, 2012 4:24 pm

Does anyone know if this is still going? My grandma passed away recently and going through her craft boxes we found a bag of unfinished knitting, singlets with a pattern titled Fish and Chip babies - it looked like an article for a school 4 years ago that was a doing a drive to send stuff to Africa. Google hasnt come up with anything recent so I'm guessing it was a one off thing? If not i will try and finish and send it to a charity in NZ in her name any ideas?

It is still happenning I think.
My aunt is still knitting them and posting fish and chip jumpers away.
I'm sure she would be happy to finish off the knitting and pass it on if you can't find anyone closer.
