Overlocking circles

When overlocking circles do u still have the cutting blade up?? - i need to ovelock a circle for a rabbits tummy lol just wondering the best way to do it im only a beginer overlocker

Yes leave the cutting blade up. I find the best way is to draw the circle on the fabric and leave yourself a decent allowance around it. Then if you go a bit wiggly you are still overlocking fabric rather than stitching nothing.

ETA it can also help if you stiffen the fabric a bit by using some iron on interfacing - shouldn't matter for a toy but might not be so good for drapey clothing.
