Quilting Help

Post by lilmonster » Fri Jan 18, 2013 7:28 pm

Okay so im "thinking" about making a quilt for "bunny"
Ive already got a minky blanket embroidered with thumper off bambi as a carseat/pushchair blanket so was thinking of keeping along the same lines of using bambi material http://www.etsy.com/listing/71795322/ba ... inkade-bty in blocks and adding in matching coloured blocks to make it to size.... would that look ok??

Just like block colour, bambi, another block colour, bambi another block colour etc into a pattern?? sorta like this http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?q=easy+q ... 00&bih=758

OR Who wants to make me a bambi quilt LOL :rotfl:

That would work fine. Another option, if you already now where you can get the embroidery done is to get some of the characters embroidered onto fabric and then use those as your feature blocks in the quilt. Like http://sallysquiltingcorner.blogspot.co ... quilt.html.
Or with fewer panels like this kind of thing. http://two-of-four.blogspot.co.nz/2012/ ... k.html?m=1. (It's appliquéd but same thing would work with embroidery.)
