snapping = crinkled pul???

Post by s'mores » Sun Jan 21, 2007 8:29 pm

Hi,
I thought I saw a thread here showing how to 'snap' so that your PUL doesn't crinkle.
Can anyone help me??

Not entirely sure what you mean, but give the PUL a bit of a wriggle after you've put the snap in and that should straighten out any bunching. Also, make sure it's lying flat in the press so that any reinforcing layer isn't pulling tighter than the outside and making it bunch. HTH.

A quick unpick to make a small hole stops the bunching for me.
