Size 20 for baby clothes?

Size 20 for baby clothes?

Postby Springlamb » Sat Nov 08, 2008 4:28 pm

Hoping to get a snap press but trying to not over spend. I'm making nappies and also making baby clothes (3 months old).
I know size 16 would be the best for bubs clothes but will size 20 be ok or will it look silly? Would it have too much bulk for thin materials and need reinforcing? I havent seen the snaps IRL so am unable to judge for myself.
If i can get away without getting 2 die sets it would be great but at the same time i dont want the clothes to look funny or be a problem.
Thanks.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times...i did a quick search but am in a bit of a hurry.

20's work fine for baby clothes.

I use 16's as well but you get so much more colours in the 20's

Terrific....thanks Happi and Kirst.

I can always get the smaller die later on down the track if i need it...just a bit poor at the moment! :(

I'm in Oz so will be getting it from Snaps Australia....they have a special on at the moment. :D

I think the colours are the same for both sizes there.
