I just poke the snap through first, then sit it in the press :) don't know how pliers work though

Hi there. I know this is way late, btu anyone else reading this will see it :) . I use the snap press to make the hole, I set it up with the snap and only push softly part way down to make the prong push through, then release it (and push the pabric down) and push the press down again this time hard to connect the snap. :) doing this I find it fast and the fabric sits exactly where I want it to. :)
