Bamboo fleece Q

I have some left over from nappy making days, can I use it to make sweatshirts, or does it not wear well? Also got some hemp terry I think (the thinner stuff with smooth on one side and loopy on the other), could I make shorts out of it?

I've used some on baby pants and it was fine. They were lovely and cosy too.
