Pretty much any night suits me. I rarely go out at night, and then when I do it is usually two nights in a row  but nothing booked in at recurring intervals.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays don't work for me either, but most other nights are good, having said that I always just need to check for DH having school things, but generally OK. How's about sometime in the next couple of weeks? Looks like a Thursday might be a goer? Where? None of us are very central are we??

Redcliffs is great for me. Would you drive cj or would you like me to pick you up on the way to Redcliffs? :D Suppose it depends on how heavy you sewing machine is (I can bring both sewing machine and overlocker, and can't use both at the same time if you want to use mine).

What sort of things are you going to be sewing?
I can look through my fabrics and send some down if I know what sort you are needing.

I would get the ferry to Lyttelton and then steal DH's car from there, and then drive home (and then he'd just have to drive in to work in the morning but he won't mind).
We can probably work out some sort of system anyway with cutting, sewing, machining and snapping!
So when are we doing it?

Heather, just anything that would do for mama pads, absorbent layers or PUL, flanelette or velour.

Or any cotton suitable for quilting Heather. :D At this stage we are just collecting quilting fabric (I think it is being freighted to Zim, and they are starting out by making the centre panels, then the quilts will be finished in NZ, so that it is a collaborative effort, and the money raised through them here will be returned to Zim - plus some of the quilts I think - details still to be finalised).

Embejo thanks so much! A courier van just arrived and I thought 'What's this? I haven't ordered anything' and he came in with a big exciting looking parcel....

.... full of mama pad material. :D :D :D :D

Thanks so much, we are in the process of organising a sewing date in Christchurch, so I will be taking it along to that (as well as making what I can here).

Thank you so much.
