mum and bubs

I wouldn't trust the mail either if thats a regular excuse, I'd just pop it in one of the small Courier Bags - not always the cheapest option through NZ Post though (who is CourierPost), I've found them to be among the most expensive when it comes the Couriers - you could always call one of the courier services such as NZ Couriers or Fastway to collect it though - just call them, advise size, that you require a signature & they should quote you and can come collect.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiight so we have red fish and blue fish and then an identical yellow nappy is not simply going to be called "yellow fish"??? ok.

I was told the ÿellow fish nappy is the only one manufactured. so if its the only one manufactured, there would be no such thing as sea creatures to get it confused with, or a picture for example of a nappy that doesnt even exist would there???

I have not had an apology of "oh geez i'm sorry i made a mistake" i've just had the lie of "there is only one yellow nappy in existance" and she has now gone and taken it off the site coz i've pulled her up on it. ITs just underhand and dodgey. not how you would run a business at all

Point her to websites that prove the nappy does exist. She probably doesn't have the nappy for sale but it does exist.

If nothing else this warning has put newbies off buying from her.

I never recommended her to anyone who asks me about who to buy from, but simply cause I didn't know about her. Definately will be telling people to stay clear of her though. And you know how many people I talk to about buying nappies! :)

Yep that's what I meant by it does exist but she doesn't have it :)

It's just plain rude that it was in the drop down box, even if she got confused at the description to the nappy, and then to lie & say it doesn't exist and she won't refund.

Next time, I say buy from mothersinstinct ;) She'll give you good business!!!

Amy does seem to get brought up on this forum a bit. I've heard nothing but bad news about her and her business... :(

but have you noticed whenever she is brought up, whether it be good or bad, its always newer members?? (which has to be a good thing because it shows people are not going there & bringing up old stuff) :D

well we'll see waht response i got now.

I have sent the nappy back to you this afternoon for a FULL refund, including postage which I am entitled to due to the fact you have advertised and sold a product you don’t have and are therefore unable to provide it. I expect $32.50 to be refunded within 7 days of this email.

To be honest, i'm expecting some pizz poor excuse making or a simple "get stuffed" to come back.

Thanks everyone for staying adult in discussing this issue. Just a couple of reminders with my admin hat on - this forum area is public. Anyone, including representatives of the business under discussion, can read it (but not reply). And please remember, as most of you are :), that this area is to discuss the business, not the person. In this case, it seems that the person pretty much is the business, but any irrelevant personal comments will be asked to be removed.

Hello Kath,

We will be forwarding this and the libel both off trade me and the nappy

and my response

Great, show your lawyer that you have dodgy business practices then. You tell all your customers that every order they make is lost in the post, advertise and sell products you don’t have which is fraudulent, then lie and tell the customer that the nappy they were sent is the only one that is produced by the company when everybody including you knows full well that the yellow fish is not the only one produced and then quickly change your website (which I have a copy of the old unedited version anyway) when your lie is pointed out by the customer. If you were straight up and not dodgey a simple "oh sorry I made a mistake, this is the nappy we have in stock, would you accept this one instead" instead of sending a nappy, lying about it being the only one and saying, we wont take it back.
Knock yourself out with the TM thread. What exactly is the lawyer going to do??? Slander can only be used when things are slanderlous and not true. Everything posted in these threads is true and you know it. I’m not the only one that is fed up with your excuses and poor service.

7 days for a full refund still stands.

Actually - I think the business owners name is relevant and is not considered private details/comments.
