Just wondering what you guys actually do for your nappicino?

I tried to have one here for RNW last year. It was at a cafe, so anyone would feel able to come. I had a hirekit and a demo kit on display plus lots of brochures from as many WHAM's as i could get. I was avaliable to talk to anyone. But only people who knew me came. ( Which was nice and all but not getting out to new people.)

Am reading these threads for ideas. It's abit of a lonely job down here. ( I also but up displays in the library, plunket rooms, hospital and hokitika library. Plus a couple of articles in our local free paper.)
Hirekits avaliable. 3 x NB/SM and a Med/Lrg. Especially on the West Coast or South Island fimale99@hotmail.com

Well 21st is DS birthday so we may have family here to stay, and I'll be back at work by then  But I'm still happy to help out in any way I can.

I just thought i would bump this up as it seems nothing has been organised yet.... please correct me if I am wrong.

I will be back at fulltime work so am very limited in what I can do to help organise however I am happy to help out on the day if it is a weekend.

There are heaps of Tnners in the Wellington/Hutt, surely its possible to get something underway....?

Just reading back through the thread it seems the interest is for Petone and a weekend.

Does anybody know a good place to hold a nappicino in Petone? I am not familiar with halls or centres there :)

Also, last year I recall there was the demo kit out so people could touch and see the different kinds of nappies.

Any other ideas?

The date - that may depend on the site availability as its only a month away. But perhaps to give more time for organising we should push it out to the end of the month.

Another thing to think about is flyers etc to let people know its on.

Do you guys think there is still time to get something worthwhile organised?

Hi all :D

I have been thinking about this and have thought of perhaps opening my home for a nappicino - not sure though if people would prefer a more 'neutral' place like a hall or similar as the idea is to have lots of people come and look!

I sell a few brands of nappies so would be happy to put these out with info etc for people to look at and touch and also having heaps of other info and brands too.

Just an idea :D

:tantrum:

This will be the third year in a row that I will miss RNW!!

First year, I had to take Zoe to the hospital for her hip check
Second year, Zoe was sick and we had spent the night in the hospital

This year is Orthodox Easter that weekend, so after church in the morning, I will probably be too busy organising for Easter lunch :?

So again I will be missing out on RNW :(
