Timaru RNW

Post by Suzyq » Wed Mar 19, 2008 3:22 pm

Hi everyone. Sue and Meg here from Cheeky Fantails ( we are slowly selling nappies in Timaru) We have got things underway in Timaru and welcome any support with ideas and volunteers. Our current status is as follows:

20th April - Launch of RNW at Caroline Bay Lounge, information on Real Nappy benefits, local suppliers displays, possible sewing demonstration from local WAHM. Is there anyone interested in representing TNN on the day, anyone close???

Window displays in local shops for the week, we are still working on these and if any one can offer some help with this would be fab.

We are hoping to hold a Nappicino event to follow up the launch sometime during the RNW week.

After reading the WEN page I would be really keen on a Disposable Nappy Mountain.

Timaru Council are helping out with posters and more we are hoping. :D Ruth has been very encouraging.

If anyone has any ideas or is able to help in anyway, Sue and I would love to here from you. Thru TNN or call Meg on 03 6143863 or Sue on 03 688 3329

Have a fab week everyone
Meg and Sue

Oh yeah I'll be keen to help. As macca says we meet up every Tuesday.
I have connections at The Herald if you want some help from then. I was the chick in The Herald last year if you remember.
I'm moving to the UK in May so can help out as much as I can but might be pushed for time.
But keen to meet up or something to discuss what needs doing.

Hi Ladies - do you have a confirmed event/s? Could someone post a brief about it here: http://thenappynetwork.org.nz/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=30781

I will just copy that and put it on the RNW page of the website.

Thanks!
