Expo - Big thanks!!

Post by karmiec » Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:37 pm

I stopped in this morning for an hour and I want to say it ROCKED!!

I saw lots of preggie woman who looked like they were seriously shopping (with husbands/partners in tow)

So a huge thanks to our wonderful volunteers, and retailers!

And a special thanks to Helen, Shyrel, Carla and Michelle who have dealt with so much of the background work.

(now to get planing for next year!!)

Ava & I spent a while there today & it was awesome! Great to see so many new Mum's & Mum's to be there with their partners exploring all their options.

I loved the venue too, it was a perfect size & great parking. And most definitely a huge credit to everyone who spent so much time & energy putting it all together :smt023

Yep, thanks to everyone from me too! Even though my little man was a real toe-rag I had a blast :) So did my wallet, but well worth it! Was really nice to see all the naps in person.

Oooh, I can't wait for my nappies to arrive!

And, thanks for the wee loan of the ergo Jess, gave me a chance to spend my $$$ :)

I also had the 'how much did you spend' talk but worded it so he thinks I was doing him a favour :) He knows better though :)

A great job done organising. Very cool!

I was soooo stoked to see a lady and her mum arrive that I had seen looking at Baby Cheeks, I stopped and told them about TNN and the expo and they came! Yay!

I had lots of fun with my 5 hours child-free nappy sewing time.

And I didn't even get to see you sew Lou!! Not that I need to learn how to sew a nappy but would have been good to see you do the back bit.

It was awesome to be there today, so many people came, and the vendors had some great stuff. I spent far too much as I usually do  but got lots of treasures for bubs and Emily :D

Thanks so much to the people who organised it, it seemed to be a great success! :D

I would like to say a big thankyou to all the ladies that have made this event such a success.

I cannot believe the volumes of people walking in .... just comparing with last year. What an impact MCN has made in that short time.

Got a bit of a  when I totalled up tonight .... had no idea that I had made many orders, but I do know I didn't get many breaks. I don't know how many times I attempted to eat my muesli bar

Well done ladies! you have to be proud of yourselves =D>
