Thanks to everyone, especially whoever it was that rescued my middle boy when he did a runner. The little kleptomaniac took off with the Pepsicles caterpillar and was found somewhere on the other side of Valentines

And thanks Janine and Angie for feeding him up on yummy cookies. You can tell they don't get much home baking, can't you? We got home and DP said "So where did you go today?" and DS forgot all about Motat, nappies etc and reported "I had a cookie". The highlight of his day.

Sorry that my cherubs wrecked so much havoc :(

Oh and I meant to say: We went to Motat first, and it was a "live" day so lots of demonstrations, and my kids got to wash pillowcases on a wash board. I thought it was kinda funny/poignant/appropriate given that so many people tell me they "don't have time" to wash cloth nappies and I always point out that its not as if we take our nappies down to the river to wash them on boards.

Thanks for organising this!!! I only had a wee visit after being out at a first birthday party (DH stayed in car with K and they BOTH had a snooze! ). Was lovely to see people I knew again and meet others and SOOOOO nice to see all the lovely nappies IRL - not so nice on the bank balance though

:D One of the highlights for me was a couple that came up to the sewing demo, and the lady said "He's the sewer." It was very very cool, and he left excited and ready to sew up a stash. :)

 He told her he needed a new sewing machine.

It was cool to see so much passion and excitement from the visitors and the exhibitors.

I spoke to him - he's the one that makes coats. He was soooo excited - he couldn't wait to start sewing after he saw how easy it was hehe :D

OH yay I got half-way home and realised I hadn't taken the camera out of hte nappy bag  which was my plan to keep DH occupied... then I could have stayed a little longer

Liam slept all the way home too... this boy seems to be drugged up on my milk!! Would you believe we had the mw appointment and he had gained 300g (hes 9 days old) and I am worrying about hte fact that he doesn't feed very much!?!!?
