Those look great Alison! Love the colour - what yarn is that? How'd you go with the pattern? I think I messed up my stitch count somewhere (they're the first longies I've ever knitted).

My first longies too :D I found the pattern really good, only time my stitch count was out was for the legs but I've told M about that. I managed to stuff up my grafting but noone will see
The yarn is some that I bought ages ago and started knitting a hoody for A but lost the love for it and now it would be way too small and I managed to get them out of what I had left without having to unpick - yay :D It's Manukau Charisma (I think that's right, Tin Shed stuff), and I think the colourway is Jewel? I don't really like the mustard colour in it but other than that it's nice. These ones are for bed anyway and I'm trying to decide whether to do him Mangrove or Donkey ones for daytime use now.

They look great ladies. I've nearly finished mine too, 1/2 way down the 2nd leg.

I've done large as well, but they will be too long for Cara.

Alison, did you end up with 58 stitches for your legs, because that's what I ended up with. Haven't emailed Margo yet, was going to when I had finished :D

It's such an easy pattern :D :D

Yeah, I have a hank of Mangrove and can't decide what to knit with it - I have a cardigan, a pair of longies, a Rainbow Dress or Spring Butterfly in my sights. Ahhhh, decisions, decisions!

I messed up my stitch count for the legs too - although I think I ended up with more on one side than the other  Not really noticeable though :) I've pm'ed Margo about it too - although I think half of it is my fault.

I agree it's a lovely easy pattern :D

I am still doing the body. I have one more exam and then I am done and will have lots of time to finish it off. I am making a large Margo and all is going well.

Sounds like everyone is doing Large. M if you want me to whip up soem XL to check pattern numbers etc let me know and I'll make sure they jump the queue a bit. I'm going to be doing them for A sometime soon anyway.

Margo I will start a medium next as well, I think the large might be a bit big for Cara anyway so I should be able to cast on this weekend.

Up to you if you want to do more sizes - I'm certainly not going to say no

Yes, the stitch count on the legs (for all sizes) is wrong - it's my error. There should be two less stitches on the legs than the pattern says. However.... each leg should have the same number of stitches as the other one

I got 58 for each leg in the large size, just finishing off the last leg and then I will make a medium as well. I think large will be a bit big.

All done Margo and they only fit Mollie, she's only just 1. I think she might have grown recently.

Here's mine. I originally thought they would be too big, but they are a perfect fit on my chubster.
