Oh and the nappy didn't sit like lu's one, perhaps cause it was PUL rather than minky?

Even when DD2 sat with her legs up in the air there was no gap between her legs.

Lovely lovely fit.

Will try on a couple of other kids for the fit next week and take pics for you.

I do have a photo with DS's legs in the air also and there was absolutely no gap at all. DS has a lot of problems with the fronts of his nappies doing what it did in the photos but we never seem to get any leaks out there ever. I think its just his body shape as he has an almost flat tummy. I find he doesn't get it with side snapping nappies but I still use front and hip snaps as like I mentioned we've not had any leaks.

Come to think if it, it could be the fact that most of his nappies are minky. I have one PUL one here I have made and I think that sits nice and flat across his tummy because of the stretch of the PUL.

Hmmm, I wonder if adding a bit of elastic in the front of minky ones would help then?

Righty O, I have,2 more larges, three mediums and two small made up finally, so i will be making the inserts for these tomorrow. :smt041

Lovemy new sewing machine, but it hated top stitching around the back elastic for some reason, might nee to nbuy somenew needles i think, so some have no top stitching around the back elastic and a couple do (which looks bad because of all the skipped stitches

I think I have evryones addys, I will PM you if I need it, but these will all be sent on Saturday!!!

This process has taken a LOT longer than I anticipated

\:D/ Got ours in the post today :D

The fit is fantastic. Zafira had it on for a wee sleep and then did poos  It wasn't a big one but it stayed in
We may have issues with it not being absorbent enough but we'll have to test that aspect when it comes ut of the wash.

Will take a photo next time it is on :D

Thanks, guys, i don't no if I said to not look too closley at the top stitching, my new machine hated doing the back elasti, so most don't have it, and the one or two that do have quite a few missed stitches, I think it will be fine once I get my walking foot.

Re the insert absorbancy, these won't last a long time as they are only microfibre and flannelette, as I didn't have enough bamboo to do them in. If you need extra absorbancy, feel free to add a booster. These inserts can also be folded at the fron, back or middle to provide extra absorbancy in places where it is needed most (let me know if you need me to post photos to swhow you how).
