Looking for a few knitting testers - all sorted now thanks

Post by Skyflame » Mon Jul 05, 2010 11:49 am

Hi there,

I have been working on a v-necked vest pattern that is just about to start testing. I am still looking for a few sizes for testing so if anyone is interested then please let me know either here or on Rav (username same as here ;) )
Pattern is able to be knit in 8, 10 and 12 plys. Testing needs to be completed by 28 July.

Ideally you wll have a model in the size you are testing you can get photos of. Would prefer testers with a little knowledge of knitting rather than beginners.

I am looking for the following sizes

3 month 43 cm/17"
6 month 45.5 cm/18"
12 month 48 cm/19"
5 year 60 cm/24"

I could also possibly take on another tester in

NB 40.5 cm/16" (10 or 12 ply)
9 month 46.5 cm/18.5" (10 or 12 ply)
2 year 53.5 cm/21" (8 or 10 ply)
4 year 57.5 cm/23"

Thanks for any help you can offer :)

I can do a 2 or 4y in any ply. Could also do a 5y - but would prefer to do in 12ply. Can borrow a sz5 little person to try on.

Also happy to do a 3 or 6mth in any ply, but don't have a baby I can test on! (do have plenty of vests in those sizes to compare to though)

I could possibly do a size 5, but it will depend on the actual pattern (as to whether I would be keen to knit a size that large for testing KWIM?). Is there a chance you could send me a photo?
