Looking for nappy testers

Post by capelbach » Sun Oct 31, 2010 1:41 pm

I'm in the process of making a new nappy, and I'm shortly going to need some testers, if anyone is interested. Ideally I'm after people with a range of different experiences with cloth, in other words people who are new to it, and people who are long time cloth users. I'd also like people who are used to different types of nappies, and have different ages of children to give it a go.
If you are interested, either PM me, or reply to this thread letting me know what experience of cloth you have, what kind of nappies you use, and how old your child/children is/are.
I will probably only start with three or four testers to begin with, but there will be more to test over time, so even if I don't need you now, I may well do later.
Cheers
Kelly-Jo Mummy to my boys Kai (7) and Mahe (5) and little ladies Lena (3) and Anja (15 months)

9 Month old chubba bubba here. This is my 2nd child in cloth. I have tried just about every nappy system under the sun but pockets are still a firm favourite. Still on the hunt for a good night nappy though.

I have Mr almost 2 who needs an xtra large and he is a heavy wee-er. Mr 4 is in cloth night pull ups. I love cloth, pockets are my preference. I only used cloth on and off when Mr 4 was a bub as we had kushies ultra aio and they just didn't work well for us.

Same here, except i have a 16 month old skinny minnie. Still not quite 10kg, but "normal" height for his age. We are pocket fans with 99% of our stash being pockets, and the odd (three) itti AIO.

I have a 3 month old, 7kg in mediums / larges and a 2y9m (14kg at last weigh, but that was a while ago) on the largest snap of smaller larges. Both boys, the youngest cuddley and the older solidly built.

Used cloth on both since birth (never used sposies). Used a wide range of different nappies.

The youngest: currently using pockets / snap ins during the day and fitted /covers at night.

The oldest: itti bittis and home made pockets during the day and Ecobubs at night.

I have a 6 week old (5kg) who is now pretty much in cloth full time having been in cloth part time since birth (mix of fitteds/covers and pockets). I used cloth on my DS part time from birth and full time from about 6 weeks (using pocket nappies, mostly homemade but some bought ones as well) until he TT at 2y8m.

5mnth girl 7kgish generally in small-medium
3yr boy 15kgish needs large- x large (he gets builder butt in almost everything  )

Have been using cloth nappies since the beginning of time :smt044 before MCN's anyway. Use pockets on the older one and prefer fitteds for the wee one, but we have pockets for her too - yet to find one that doesn't leak though
