My "Love is" set of projects were focussed around DH's cousin's wedding, held yesterday. As posted on my Homemade Gallery, some outfits for the kids to wear to the wedding. I haven't gotten around to making the wine glass charms, but hope to do so still.

Yes, all Ottobre except for Will's cap which is very similar to James (Ottobre). Will's cap is a Japanese pattern (borrowed from the lovely Claire) as the Ottobre one wasn't small enough for Will. The brim is shorter on Will's, I love that style more so will shorten the brim on Em's cap. More photos and all the Ottobre details on my blog. So much fun making these outfits, and learnt new techniques (like cuffs on James' shirt). I'd do a few things differently next time around (mostly with how I finished edges), but nonetheless stoked with the results (especially considering I had them all dressed up fancy schmancy for about $50 total), and a week of hard out sewing at night. And, 38 buttons to sew on the morning the wedding

Such cool outfits, especially love the little caps, super super cute!

I'm finished DS's cross-stitch :D So stoked! Has taken 17 months, and its quite large and not a common frame size/shape so I suspect its going to be $$$ to frame, but can't wait to get it on the wall now. Pics to come when I've got it all pressed and looking pretty :)
