edited to add another pic of the wrap (this shows the colour better) - modelled by a doll:

These are awesome, the wrap is being used constantly unless it's in the wash!! Can't wait to try the hat on him.... hope it fits, sorry I forgot to give you a hat to use for sizing. I'll have to take a pic of Z in the hammock all wrapped up and matching!

Me too - is it easy to knit the flowers? Did you get the pattern for them from ravelry?

Wow that is so cool Bec!
And I'm really glad we have an extra day, because I got all inspired last night, so will finish off a few things today and post pics hopefully when hubby is home (issues with the home computer  )

They are really easy...

Cast on 36stitches
[sometimes I knit 1or 2 extra rows here to make them bigger]
Next row - k1, cast off 4, k2, cast off 4, k2, cast off 4, k2, cast off 4, k2, cast off 4, k2,cast off 4, k1
Thread tail through remaining 12 stitches and pull tight

You can also vary their size by the thickness of your yarn or needle size

Bec that dress takes my breath away! It's so beautiful.

Righteo, hogging spots here, just wanted to add the other embellishments for Mum's pressie, which I made last night and posted today woot woot. Will load this up on Rav later in the week, can't now though as Mum joined and she'll spot it before she gets it. :vibes:

This is the package (complete with purple jelly beans  )

Up close (earrings, scarf ring, brooch and kilt pin brooch)

And being worn:

Even the shawl is kind of an embellishment (if I labour the point  ) 'cause it was knitted to go with the blueberry bag I made earlier in the year (doesn't look like a good match, but it is).
