lol... i DID! I also did ask DH first :-)... perfect timing really coz i had to get some pul for lining minky and have been waiting till i needed more stuff to join postage... so got some of the odds and ends stuff today too.

I think quite a few succumbed to temptation - they had 55 this am and now only 27 (i sent 2 friends their way too)

Yeah I got one too. I was looking at getting some snap pliers but at that price who could resist. Did have to run it past DH and we decided it would be an early birthday present (december) Wahoo!

O yeah, you'll be thanking your lucky stars you got the press... i've been using pliers for the last year or so which have done the trick but when you have to do lots at once you get a sore hand! :-) (not to mention the multiple stab wounds i have from the awl haha) I have about 10 or so nappies to sew in the next month - SOOOO looking forward to getting the press for that now!

and a snap press has a nicer finish :D
i wanted to get another cos the price was cheap lol

a quick question then... do you need to poke the fabric through with an awl first? or does it go straight through?
