Ottobre 4/2004 & 6/2010

Has anyone got both copies? Are the undies and long-johns in both these the same? If they are different, what is different about them.

ok , the 4/2004 have a longer fitted leg , you don't have to put the ribbing on if it's too fiddly , Heather made Ashley some with a double layer in the front and foe around the waist and legs . 6/2010 looks more like a boxer ( but i don't have a pair made up to really see , just looking at the pictures in the mags )
Ashley loves the 4/2004 0nes :D , he likes everything kept well in place , nothing escaping out of leg holes like standard undies

4/04 - has 2 leg pieces & an inserted front piece & back piece.
6/10 - has the above and an extra crotch gusset

4/04 has a fold over top waist
6/10 has a separate waistband

4/04 has bindings to hide the seams between the front/leg/back/leg pieces (no serged or raw seams against the skin except for the very front shaping)
6/10 has seams topstitched

Long johns I've not made, so can't compare except to say the 6/10 ones have a front opening. 4/04 briefs were great to make - I've made a few & James loves wearing them. The gusset on the 6/10 may be a bit more confusing to do if you're not familiar with how to do gussets on underwear so that all seams are hidden?
