ISO Plush elastic

ISO Plush elastic

Postby ob1 » Sat Jan 15, 2011 11:58 am

Does anyone know where I can get 1 inch plush elastic from? This is stuff that is slightly fuzzy on one side, and this is the side that goes against your skin. Just straight elastic, not foe.
I've tried spotlight, David's emporium, and the bernina shop. The only place I have seen it so far is an online store in the US. Help :detective:
This is the stuff you have along the bottom of many bras, and along the waistband of men's underwear - so it's really useful, and I can't believe I'm having so much trouble finding it.

That's the type of stuff I'm finding too - I especially want some for men's underwear - so scalloped is right out :smt044
I've just tested some ordinary elastic, cutting it lengthwise, and it doesn't seem to fray in this direction, so I may try to buy the scalloped stuff next time I'm at spotty, and just cut the scallopes off.
