Sew along anyone?

Nothing done today yet - just got home from groceries (feeling virtuous as without a car I had to carry them home, so my exercise for the day) and did the housework this morning.
Will try and get another couple of singlets sewn up after dinner.

Great stuff on the walking I have been going to the gym and loving it I too am way overweight so making the most of being on maternity leave and fitting the gym in.

Yip 5km bike this arvo, had lunch at 1pm :smt044 and I must say the sewing stalled after the bike ride as my legs are so sore I dont think I could use the foot pedal :rotfl: I prefer running to biking, I forgot how painful it is on the different muscles and fat bums.

BUT - I did get the change mat finished.

OMG so many squares my eyes are swimming!!!!
Have layered all the squares for Z's rag quilt now to do X's and then to sew them all - what is it about patchworkers being crazy cause they cut up all the fabric only to sew it back together again but I will get these finished! I love the idea of having them snuggled under flannel when we drive anywhere at night or in winter.
Better g Miss Z is crying

Sounds like everyone is plodding on we will ahve to start posting pics of finished items

Yay mumamber!

I made a long-sleeved tee for the baby today, was trying it out on cheap fabric before I attempt merino because I don't have a pattern as such... i hacked up an old stained bodysuit lol. It looks a bit boring, will have to fancy up future ones with applique or something... can't actually be bothered doing any more sewing today, so shall sit and knit instead

Half sewn together 6 merino singlets - got interrupted by visitors, hopefully I'll finish them tonight and then need to start cutting out again!

Everyone seems to be doing well Yay for inspiring each other, started sewing DD blanket last night rather than put her brothers together it isn't the greatest :? but it is only for the car I wasn't overly careful on my seams and should have used my walking foot (well tried to find it!) I then had DH sitting and snipping the rows I had sewn when he got home :D taht is the painful part.
Definately getting onto the merino after this as I picked up some more at johns place yesterday blends but good for hoodies for daycare and at $3 enough to make two I can't complain, I don't have to break in to my cheap but now seems expensive stuff LOL My stash remains intact whoops that wasn't the plan at all.

I cut out the microfleece for the four nappies I already had PUL cut out for and snapped them tonight. Hopefully DP will take charge of the kids tomorrow afternoon so I can finish them - should be smooth sailing from here!

My flatmate wanted me and J to go with her to a train thing today, I was thinking I might bribe her to take just J and stay here and sew, but turns out my overlocker is nearly out of thread... poops. I should probably go buy some in other colours anyway, everything i make just has cream thread cos I'm that lazy :smt044

I did make a cross-over style top last night though, i love it, it's just that its more like 9month size than nb  Never mind, i can adjust the pattern again
