Putting snaps on a velcro nappy

Putting snaps on a velcro nappy

Postby jennyo » Sat Apr 02, 2011 5:34 pm

I've just got a snap press \:D/ and am wanting to put snaps on some velcro nappies. I've found some tutorials and they seem to say to just put the snap through the one layer of PUL but I'm worried about it needing a 2nd layer to make it stronger. Do I need to reinforce this somehow? Will I actually have to sew on the extra layer of microfleece or will the act of snapping it be enough (if that makes sense?)

I cut out wee squares of PUL and use those for extra reinforcement. I usually push the cap through the square first, and then snap onto the nappy :)
