OMG that's ridiculous, definately send them back, aside from the fact they are all different NONE of them look anything like Quebracho! It's meant to be light green and varying shades of pink, not forest green and reds!

I just received a reply...

Yes, Rachel, I see the difference. I'll write tomorrow, I am without my personal translator and I can not communicate well. First thing tomorrow I write. Greetings

If they send you a replacement, well rather than go to the expense of shipping it back you could sell it on here. I think I could be tempted by a skein or two.

If you decide to sell I would love the top right corner one lol thats a bit of a pain in the bum, it would be even worse if they were all for one project :(

They all look quite different!!! I agree with petals about returning them, would just end up costing too much, maybe ask if you can just pay for the skeins and not postage as it was there fault? I know I'll be happy to take the top corner one on the left and the one underneath it off you

Rachael, when I got something that was completely different from the photo, she gave me replacement and asked for the cost of shipping. I ended up paying more as I wanted to cover their costs, and then onsold the yarn at a reduced price here on TNN.

She has told me that it is an error and that the 'packing boy' must have taken some from two different orders and mixed them up, and that this is the first time this has happened in 7 years.

I have to wait until she emails back overnight tonight to find out whether this lot is staying here or whether it is going back.

If I land up keeping it I will have to pay for the replacement, if this happens I will contact the people who have shown interest in buying some.

I knitted two skeins of Hardly that were very very different.

I alternated two rows of each in an Oleria for Nattys little one.

I can see which was the brighter - and which was more muted but the effect was lovely and the result seemed to be well received.

for 5 different ones I would be a little more miffed.

That's lovely Sharon. I really like it.

I had two skeins of passionate that were quite different. The colours in them matched very closely, however one of them had the darker colour as the more predominate colour, and the other had the lighter shades as the more dominate colour. Thankfully the way it was knitted meant it didn't matter too much.
