Pattern for boy's pants with contrast pockets / patches

I love them, especially as they're something a bit diferent from boring bought pants. What patterns do people use? TIA. :)

I think I have a pattern in one of my ottobre magazines if you wanted to trace it.

Last time I did pants like that I just used my standard pants pattern and added contrasting patches and pockets, about to do some more if I can get motivated for DS3.

I've been making pants with similar styled pockets as that link from a pattern mum bought me. I think its a simplicity one. but I've just been changing the colours etc around myself to make them different. Zak loves his "star" pants (like in my gallery) and chooses them to wear everytime they are back in the drawer!

Sure, its Simplicity 2907 and the one i have goes from 6m to 4yr. It has long pants, cargo shorts, girls shirt dress, short sleeved shirt for boys and then one with puffy sleeves for girls, sleeveless shirt and like a cargo vest thing. So far i've only made the pants haha, they are really easy!
