Have you tried wet wipes. I find they remove most things. Alternatively DH picked up some friend Fabric Cleaner by accident and used that on the crayon and pen on the walls and it removed 90% of it. The other thing I have heard is really good is CRC

Other than that no help - a new coat of blackboard paint?

No I hadn't thought of wet wipes. It comes off with my fingernail but it's slow and tedious, and who wants to use fingernails on the blackboard anyway. Might try the CRC next, as we don't have Friend. Thanks heaps. :-)

I can't see a new coat of paint working as it has a waxy surface.

Those white melamine "magic cleaning blocks" things. There are lots of different brands. One is sold as a non-stick cookwear cleaner and has the white high denisty foam (melamine) on one side and a soft blue scourer on the other. It takes "vivid" permanent marker off wallpaper :rotfl: Sadly I know this well.....

Is that the ones you get from the supermarket? I used to have a ceramic cooktop. Wonder if I kept the cleaner or got rid of it.
