New $199 Janomes being advertised

Has anyone seen these in real life? I saw an ad on tv for them just a few days ago. I have a few friends wanting to learn to sew, and some want to buy a new but not too expensive but reliable sewing machine, so was wondering about checking these out.
Rachael (mum to DD1 5yrs, and DD2 3yrs)

If they are genuine Janome's then snap 'em up, I can't rave about my Janome enough, LOVELY machine!

yeah they were advertised as being sold at janome outlets. hmmmm, might have to go check them out. I'll probably end up with a 'back-up' machine for myself at that price
